CFP: History of Facial Hair

The following call for papers from Dr Alun Withey (University of Exeter) and Dr Jennifer Evans (University of Hertfordshire) may be of use to those who share our interest in facial variability:

Call for book chapters for an edited collection, nominally titled Framing the Face: New Perspectives on the History of Facial Hair. We would formally like to seek abstracts of 300 words, which can be sent to Alun Withey. Abstracts should be received by Monday 7th March. We are keen to get as broad a range of papers as possible, and the call is open to all delegates who attended the conference. To give some idea of timescales, we would look to have draft chapters (of ideally 8-10,000 words, including footnotes) sent to us by 5th December this year. We would then aim to submit a final MS to the publishers in Spring 2017.
